Course Requirements
Readings:
Readings should be read by the date listed on the outline. Please try to stay on top of the readings as this will improve the class discussions.
Presentations:
Each student will be required to give 2 oral presentations. One will focus on a specific literary work and the other will examine some generic topic. Topics and dates are indicated on the "Readings and assignments" portion of the course information with an "*". Each presentation should be about 15 minutes. You will also hand in an outline of the presentation on a disk (IBM or Mac). Jennifer will then add your outline to the web site.
Web Utility:
The World Wide Web (Web) is a tool with which each student is expected to become familiar in the process of researching his or her presentation topics. v. supra re outline.
Final Paper:
A final paper on an agreed upon subject (and this can be developed from one or both of the orall reports) is due on the last day of class.
