Subject Description: This figure seems to be in the act of rising from a chair arm finials each comprised of a lion's-head surmounted by a sphinx. Schöne has identified this figure as Athena, while Pallat has suggested Zeus
Form & Style: Brouskari reports that Pallat placed this figure in the first position on block 10 (5) of the North side of the North Porch.
Condition: Single piece
Condition Description: This single large, and relatively well preserved fragment, comprises the lower torso and legs (missing ends of feet), with associated drapery of the rising figure, and most of her chair (throne?).
