The vase is in good condition. There are some pits and scratches on the surface.

Decoration Description:

Herakles and Perithoos in Hades. Perithoos, on the left, is seated on a stump. Herakles, standing, grasps his hand and leans back to help him up. Herakles, who has short hair and is bearded, wears a short chiton and his lion skin. Perithoos wears a chlamys, petasos and traveler's boots (puttees) and is holding a spear. Herakles carries his club.
