L. Weidauer argues for an earlier date, specifically one in the period 737/6-726 BC.

Commentary: On the closing date of the important Foundation Deposit at the Ephesian Artemision (IGCH 1153) depends the dating of 2420-25, whose issues were all represented in the deposit. As yet, however, there is no consensus on its burial date.
