Decoration Description:

Side A: concert. Two standing musicians play for two seated men. The two musicians play facing one another in the center of the scene. The musician on the right is only partially preserved and his instrument in missing. He wears a long chiton and mantle. The fat musician on the left is playing a flute, standing with swayed back and bulging stomach. He wears a long, white, sleeveless chiton. The other two men sit on stools facing the concert. The man seated on the left is better preserved. He is leaning on a staff with his left hand while gesturing with his right, and is wearing a piece of striped fabric draped around his waist and over his lap, and a fillet over his hair. The seated man on the right appears to have echoed him in pose and dress. All four men have short hair.

Side B: Amazonomachy with wheeling chariot. A warrior in a four-horse chariot chases an Amazon. The chariot travels from the left, its driver on the far left. He is holding a spear and is bending forward at the waist so that his face is hidden behind the head of the first horse. He wears a short, sleeveless, white chiton with borders around the arm and neck holes, and a chlamys. A bird flies behind the warrior. The Amazon on the far right is running from the chariot carrying a small shield and looking back over her shoulder in fear. A dog runs with her, partially hidden behind her right, rear foot. She wears a helmet and greaves, and a short garment with a dotted skirt. She also has a piece of cloth wrapped around her shoulders and hanging free on her left side. Between the two figures the horses are spread out, each rearing up so that their front legs are off the ground. The horses on the left and right turn their heads to the right, while those in the center are shown frontal face.
