..., commanding the Thirty-first Virginia regiment, (severely wounded;) Major Kasey, commanding the Fifty-eighth Virginia regiment; Major Higginbotham, commanding the Twenty-fifth Virginia regiment; and Captain William F. Brown , commanding the Twelfth Georgia regiment, all acquitted themselves with great gallantry.
