From Charleston. Charleston, Dec. 24. --No change of importance. A few shots have been fired from our batteries at the enemy's working parties on Morris Island. The enemy made no reply. There has been no further shelling of the city.

hting between the negroes and Yankees. There seems to have been a collision, of quite a serious character, between the Yankees and the colored allies at Fort Jackson, below New Orleans. A few days ago we published a dispatch from Mobile, in which a confused allusion was made to the matter, which was not understood for want of previous information. Yesterday a member of the House of Representatives received the following dispatch, which partially explains the affair: "Mobile, Dec. 24.--I have this moment received the following dispatch from Magnolia, dated Dec. 23; 'News from Fort Jackson, brought by released prisoners, state that they were fighting there yesterday.--Six thousand negroes were in the and all the gunboats had been sent with three thousand troops.'" Magnolia is a station on the Jackson and New Orleans railroad. From the Rapidan. Orange C. H., Dec. 24. --A report reached here this evening that the Yankees have destroyed a part of the town of Luray, in Page county, by fire. Nothing stirring along our lines.
The Mutiny at Fort Jackson. Mobile, Dec. 24. --Capt. Abels, of the Alice Vivian, released, arrived here from New Orleans. Two white regiments sent down to Fort Jackson had not recovered the fort, and were fighting on Saturday.
From East Tennessee. Bristol, Dec. 24. --No change of affairs in front. The cold weather has prevented any movement by either party. The enemy's pickets are twelve miles this side of Knoxville.
