The undersigned offers his services to the public as a Hire of Negroes for the ensuing year.
His increased experience enables him confidently to promise those who engage his services, that their business will be attended to in the most satisfactory manner, and prompt returns made quarterly.

The subscriber begs to return his acknowledgements to his friends and patrons for their favors during the past six years, and would inform them that he still continues of Hiring Out Negroes, Renting Out Houses, Collecting Claims, and all business pertaining to a General Agency, to all of which he gives his personal attention.1861.E. Parties in the country who may entrust the hiring of their Negroes to him, may rest assured of every attention being paid to getting them none other but good homes and the best prices, and in the event of sickness, the best Medical and Personal attention shall always be supplied.
He has also a large, comfortable apartment, connected with his office, where those servants who are not provided with places to stay at night during the hiring, may remain, with a good fire, free of charge.

He pledges himself to use every exertion to obtain for the owner the best prices, with, a due regard to the comfort of the servant, and his personal attention in case of sickness.

--The undersigned will continue the above business the ensuing year, and solicits the continued patronage of those friends for whom he now acts and of the public generally.
With the knowledge obtained by several years' experience in this business, he feels assured that he will be enabled to secure good homes and the best prices.
Every attention will be given to the welfare of Negroes entrusted to his care, and attached to his office in a comfortable room for the used of those whom have not homes in the city.

His long experience in Negro Hiring, added to an extensive acquaintance with the citizens of Richmond and its vicinity, he hopes will enable him, as heretofore, to give entire satisfaction to all whom may entrust their 1861.

Every effort will be made to procure good homes and fair prices for all sent to him. Ample arrangements have been made to have them well cared for till hired out.
He has practiced medicine for more than twenty years, and will, to avoid medical bills as far as possible, prescribe in all simple cases without charge.
Much has been saved the present year by that course.
Persons intending to patronize him will please notify him of such intention immediately.
