Important victory. Bull Nelson Whipped...three thousand prisoners taken. Chattanooga, Sept. 3. --The following dispatch from Gen. Kirby Smith, dated Richmond, Ky., has just been communicated: "We had three fights on the 30th, near this place. The enemy was completely routed. Gen. Nelson was wounded in the thigh. Gen. Miller was killed. Three thousand prisoners were captured, including Gen. Manson and staff, together with all their artillery, small arms, wagons, &c. Our loss is small."
Exchange of prisoners at Vicksburg. Jackson, Sept. 3. --Our Yankee prisoners were delivered ever yesterday, at Vicksburg. Our own are hourly expected. Seventy-one Yankee prisoners arrived here today from Bolivar, Tenn. There is one gunboat and one transport opposite Natchez Chances for a fight.
