Burglary. --Last Monday night the dwelling-house of Dr. Charles E. Anderson, corner of Marshall and Foushee streets, was broken into by thieves, who stole a half barrel of herrings, a lot of soap, and thirty-six breakfast plates. Yesterday morning officer Kelly found the stolen articles in the house of Mrs. Mary Freylogle, in Screamersville. The officer took Mrs. Freylogle into custody, when she stated that a fellow named Jack Ford and two negroes had brought the things to her house. Officer Kelly in the course of the day succeeded in finding and arresting Jack Ford. Ford is believed to be a deserter. The case will come before the Mayor this morning.
