In the general markets the tendency is to advance, the receipts of produce being at present very light, and the demand heavy. We annex the wholesale quotations, with the remark that retail prices are fixed by dealers according to their own views. Farmers will do well to send in their productions, now that the rates are sufficiently high to satisfy the most exacting. Apples.--Very scarce and in demand. We quote from $20 to $25 per bbl., though a prime article will bring more. Bacon.--Supply limited. He ground readily commands 65 to 70c per lb. Beans.--$3 to $4 per bushel. Beeswax.--75 per lb. Butter.--Very firm at $1.75@$1.50 per lb. by the package. Cheese.--$1.21@$1.50 per lb. Corn.--Supply small, and last sales indicate about $3.20 per bushel, in advance. Corn Meal.--$3.50 per bushel. Copperis--Has declined to 75c per lb. Cotton Yarns.--$7.51@$8 per pad by the bale. Dried Fruit.--Peaches $8@$10, Apples $1@$5 per bushel. Onions.--$30@$40 per
