Begun.--From the Voto Popular, of Matamoras, to learn that the Rejos, under Don Andres Trevino, attacked Reynosa, on October 7th, captured the town, and made prisoners of the garrison, commanded by Don Trinidad Flores, of the party known as the Crinolinos. To this the Brownsville Flag adds the following: By private letters we learn that all the Crinolinos who signed the pronunciamento and who have been taken prisoners, have been sentenced to be shot, and all who could not be found had their property seized. Among the number, Francisco Baili, of this city, lost considerable. The receipt of the above news at Matamo Va. on Wednesday morning, led to serious measures. The city was immediately deferred under martial law, and the Rejos were an ordered under arrest. The wives of the prisoners were ordered into custody at the same time. This measure led immediately flight of the devoted Rojos from Mata and the city of Brownsville is now ptdly filling up with the fugitives.
