--Recorder Caskie and Aldermen Sanxay, Hray, Binford, and Lipscomb presiding.
The case of Albert Rush, a slave, on an appeal from the judgment of the Mayor, was continued to the next term of the Court.
The charge upon which this negro was arrested is the larceny of coal from Wm. H. Davis.
The proceedings against Mordecai Carnell, Wm. Coghill, Robert A. Mayo, and Thomas Bass, for permitting their slaves to go at large, were dismissed.
Rules were awarded against John H. F. Mayo, George E. Bond, and Thomas J. T. Talbott, to show cause why they should not be fined for permitting their slaves to go at large; which rules are to be returnable to the next term.
The court adjourned for the term yesterday.
Judge Lyons will commence his term on Monday next.

Ranaway.--five dollars reward.
--Ranaway from the subscriber, (Agent for the Clover Hill R. R. Co., at their coal yard at Port Waithsil) a negro man named Davy; about six feet high; 21 years old; dark complexion; thick lips; has been hired in Richmond for several years, and last year to Mr. Samuel M. Bally, tobacconist, as a screwman, and is probably lurking about the city, or Manchester, where he has relations at Mr. L. Hobb.
The above reward will be given for his apprehension and delivery to Mr. L. S. Wooldridge.
If caught in Richmond or Manchester, or to myself if taken up in the country, or secured so that I get him. Thos. Bass, Agent

Mayor's Court.
--The Mayor's docket yesterday morning was large; but the cases embraced in it were fairly examined and promptly disposed of. We present the following summary:
Lucy and Ann Tonget, were examined on the charge of stealing from Branch Jackson, slave of Thomas Bass, one trunk, containing $450 in money, five pairs of pants, six shirts, one pair or boots, two vests, and one hat, found guilty, and sent on to the Hustings Court to be further examined.
A negro man, named James Butler, was remanded to the Hustings Court, on the charge of stealing from John W. Dorsey sundry articles of wearing apparel and jewelry, valued at $800, and resisting the officers who made his arrest.
The charge preferred against Peter, slave of N. M. Lee, and William, slave of N. M. Norfleet, of stealing two boxes of tobacco and one bag of meal, valued at $400, from N. M. Lee, was examined into, and the evidence sustaining the accusation, they were remanded for trial before the Hust
