Police Court. --The head and tail of all the offending which came under the cognizance of this tribunal on yesterday, is to be found in the following summary: Richard Carter, charged with accumulating a lot of clothing by contraband agency, continued; Elias, a free negro, enticing and aiding a female slave to abscond, continued for ten days; Edmund Borseman, without free papers, and having in his possession a pistol, committed to jail; Henry Thompson, stealing $30 from Levi Boone, whipped; Peter, having no papers, and stealing a quantity of under-clothing from some person unknown, committed; Patrick Coyne, breaking into sundry houses and robbing folks, continued until Wednesday next.
