--The Senate to-day confirmed the nominations of Aften Bradford, Associate Justice of the Supreme Court for Colorado; Kirby Benedict, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court for New Mexico; and William McKinstry, Postmaster at Ferdina, New York.
The President has, among other nominations, sent to the Senate, which has not acted upon them, Benjamin F. Whidden, of New Hampshire, Minister to Hayti; Gustavus Koenier, of Illinois, Minister to Spain; Erastus D. Culver, of Brooklyn, New York, Minister to Venezuela.
