It is estimated that the property destroyed by the rebels since the war commenced, to prevent the same from felling into Union hands, amounts to $79,000,000. The printing offices of the Method at Book Concern, Union and American, Banner and Militia were taken possession of by the United States Marshal yesterday. Proceedings to confiscate these offices, and the real estate attached to them, we believe, have been instituted. We understand that very little tobacco is being planted in Simeson and Allen counties, Ky., and in Somder county, Tenn., the present season, farmers preferring to raise wheat and corn instead. Cranville Brown, an estimable young man of this county, and it son of Aaron V. Brown, was murdered on his plantation in Arkansas a few days ago by his overseen.
