The alarm on the Southern sea-coast. --The reports which have reached the State, says a Georgia exchange, in regard to the destination of Lincoln's fleet, has created great alarm on our sea-coast. It will be gratifying, however, to the people in that vicinity to know, that the most active measures have been and are being taken by Governor Brown for their protection and defence. All the resources of the State at his command will be in requisition, and we are also much gratified at being able to state, that the Executive is crowded with applications from every section of Georgia to go into the service of the State and to the aid of our brethren of the sea-board. Country rifles and shot-guns fit for service are being hunted up everywhere.
