Mayor's Court. --The following cases were disposed of by the Mayor yesterday morning: Allen Tyree, a free negro, charged with trespassing upon the premises of Benjamin B. Sayres, and using violent and threatening language towards him when ordered off, was adjudged entitled to be whipped to the extent of the law. The case of William, slave of Napoleon Burke, charged with receiving a carpet, valued at five hundred dollars, which was supposed to have been stolen, and Charles, slave of Mrs. Jane Phillips, charged with stealing said carpet, was called up for a hearing, but continued for a future day. Pleasant, slave of George Darby, charged with having in his possession a bag of meal, supposed to have been stolen, was ordered to be whipped.
