The poisoned soldiers. --According to the Baltimore American, the man referred to by Gen. Butler as having been "poisoned," had no other "poison" but over eating and drinking, having indulged freely "in stale lager beer, pies, cakes and other things." We ?ad supposed the poison panics were to be confined to the Massachusetts troops alone; but we find a statement in the Philadelphia Ledger to the effect that a number of Pennsylvanians, quartered at Germantown, went to bed with severe palus in their stomachs one night last week, occasioned by poisoned coffee. Much excitement prevailed.
