Charles Butterfield, and David Connell, arrested in New York last week for "treasonable language and correspondence," were discharged in the absence of competent testimony. The Federal Court at Clarksburg, Va., adjourned on Saturday week. During the session one hundred and fourteen Secessionists were indicted. The present population of Charleston, S. C., is 48,160.
