Commencing young. --Laurence Cary, a lad of ten years, appeared before the Mayor yesterday to answer the charge of stealing $8 in money from Patrick Figarty. The accused entered the store of Figarty, in the day time, passed behind the counter, relieved the money drawer of $8, and then left. He was soon after pursued and captured, when he gave up the money and was taken to prison. The Mayor locked him up for the present, till he could determine what disposition to make of him.
