Liberality and Patriotism. --One of the New Orleans companies, belonging to the 5th Liousiana Regiment, bears the name of Perritt in honor of Mr. Henry Perritt, of that city. This gentleman expended over $3,000 in the outfit of this company. He has recently arrived here on his way to Williamsburg, there the company is stationed, for the purpose of attending to all their wants. He now intends to supply them with all necessary nothing for winter, such as overcoats, boots, underclothing, &c. The company is commanded by Capt. Archer Conner, and is a well drilled and efficient body of men. Mr. Perritt's example is worthy of imitation as well as praise.
