Homicide. --On Wednesday evening acting Coroner Richard D. Sanxay commenced an inquest over the remains of a soldier named Edward Conner, a member of the 21st Mississippi regiment, whose dead body was found at the 4th Georgia Hospital. It appeared, from the evidence, that he had been stabbed by an unknown man last Sunday in the pit of the stomach, and that his death resulted therefrom. The affair occurred in Rockette. The inquiry into the circumstances connected with the tragedy (for the purpose of procuring the attendance of material witnesses) was adjourned until 11 o'clock to-day.
