New Music. --We have received a copy of a song, "They told me not to love him," published by John W. Davies & Sons, Main street. We commend to all publishers the excellent taste displayed by this firm in its publications. Commencing the production of sheet music when the style — not popular, but forced on the people of the Confederacy — was of that vulgar, many-colored and highly-ornamented character, well calculated to make the "judicious grieve," they at once changed it altogether, and, with excellent discrimination, have been getting out a series of publications well worthy a place in a lady's music-book, both for musical value and style of printing. We have also received a copy of "Just before the battle, Mother," an exceedingly well-illustrated piece of music and very pretty son
