Fealty of Lendona county. Hillsburg, Dec. 2d, 1861. Editors Dispatch: --I have seen lately some contracts from a letter of a Leesburg correspondent of the Charleston Courier, which, I think, is calculated to make a false impression upon the public mind outside of the county, in regard to the position which the great mass of the people of Londoun occupy relative to the contest now being waged between the United States and the Southern Confederacy. One would suppose, from reading the letter alluded to, that loyalty to the cause of Southern independence was the exception, and not the rule, among the citizens of this wealthy populous and important county. In the estamation of the writer thereof "it is a foul fester upon" the body of the Confederacy, and its loyal citizens are confined to some ten or twelve gentlemen, whose names he gives that they may be held up to admiration as being pure and true, where everybody else is false and corrupt.
