Young Thieves. --Thomas Dolan and Joseph Pearman, two little boys between eight and ten years of age, were before the Mayor yesterday on the charge of entering the shop of Mrs. Drumheiler, on Broad street, and stealing $24 from the money drawer. It appeared that the boys entered the store on Friday and stole the money, and then ran off. Pearman was caught in a few minutes afterwards by officer Kelly and searched, but no money found on him. Dolan was not caught till Sunday morning. During red that the boys entered the store on Friday and stole the money, and then ran off. During the examination Dolan said that Pearman stole the money and concealed it in his boot, and that he had it there when officer Kelly searched him. The Mayor not wishing to sent the children to jail handed them over to their respective parents, who were present.
