Company a, 1st Maryland regiment. --At an election held a few days since, at their camp near the enemy, for officers of this fine company, (which it will be remembered re-enlisted for the war.) the following were chosen to serve for that period. viz: Captain, William W. Goldeborough; 1st Lieut., Geo. K. Shellman; 2nd Lieut, John Y. Groshen (from Sergeancy); Junior 2nd Lieut., Wm. Dorsey, promoted from Sergeancy.
