At the meeting of the Board of Officers of the 179th Regiment, the following committee was appointed to wait on Capt. Rady and inform him of his election: Capts, P.G. Coghian, Hewitt and Baber.
The following was the committee appointed to take into consideration all matters tending to the better organization of the Regiment: Col. J. H. Richardson Lieut. Col. Clarkson Major Fry, Major Rady, Captains Sweeney, Baber and Coghian.
The last mentioned committee met last evening, and adopted, amongst other resolutions, the following:
Resolved That the Colonel of the Regiment procure muskets for two companies of the 179th Regiment, to be stored by him at the headquarters of the Regiment.
Resolved, That the cap to be worn by the officers of the Regiment be of the same pattern as that now used by the officers of the Young Guard.
