The wounded.
--Dr. F. W. Hancock, of this city, who has lately returned from Manassas, informs us that he went through all the camps, for the purpose of obtaining information as to the necessities of the wounded soldiers.
They will continue to be sent to Richmond as rapidly as they are reported able to endure the fatigue of the journey, and those of our citizens who desire to throw open their doors for their accommodation, will soon have an opportunity.
The committee having this matter in charge are untiring in their efforts to make the wounded men comfortable.
St. Charles Hotel.
--This capacious establishment, so kindly tendered by the owners, Messrs. R. H. Dickinson and Geo. W. Yancey, has been converted into a regular Hospital by the committee appointed to attend on our wounded and sick volunteers.
The committee deserve great praise for their untiring exertion and strict attention to the wants of our sick and wounded.
There is in attendance a regularly organised corps of Surgeons, among whom are Drs. J. F. Jackson and F. W. Hancock, of Richmond; Dr. Tuff, of Washington, D. C., and Dr. Jones, of Maryland.
There are 160, or more, patients in the building.
Dr. F. W. Hancock having been ordered to Gen. Ewell's Brigade, as Surgeon, will necessarily be absent from the city for a time.
Those wishing his professional services will find his representative, Dr. James E. Williams, at his office, prepared to attend to their calls.
Dr. James E. Williams offers his professional services to the citizens of Richmond and vicinity.
He may be found at Dr. F. W. Hancock's office, on Main, between 3d and 4th streets, or at Mr. Wm. S. Phillips' officeg his professional services will find his representative, Dr. James E. Williams, at his office, prepared to attend to their calls.
Dr. James E. Williams offers his professional services to the citizens of Richmond and vicinity.
He may be found at Dr. F. W. Hancock's office, on Main, between 3d and 4th streets, or at Mr. Wm. S. Phillips' office, on 12th street, between Main and Bank, at the usual office hours.
