Belligerent. --Warren Richards, a person of colored extraction, was awarded punishment by order of the Mayor, yesterday, for assaulting John Harlow, another "gentleman from Africa."
Incendiarism. --About 2 o'clock yesterday morning an attempt was made to burn the residence of Mr. John Harlow, on Ninth street, French Garden Hill, by building a fire under his front porch. Fortunately one of the neighbors happened to be up, and gave the alarm in time for the flames to be extinguished before much damage was done.
