Richmond Circuit Court. --Before this Court yesterday the honorable Judge Thomas B. Monroe, formerly Judge of the United States District Court for Kentucky, appeared in Court, and took the usual oaths of attorneys to practice in this Court. A petition for a writ of habeas corpus returnable to-day was awarded Stephen Harris a free negro, who represents that he is illegally detained in the custody of Lieut. Richardson, commanding Castle Thunder. In the matter of Jonathan B. Rogers, who came before Court on a writ of habeas corpus. and who seeks exemption under the act of Congress exempting shoemakers, witnesses were examined, and the case postponed until the 26th inst for more testimony.
