Mr. Burwell introduced a resolution, addressed to the Committee on Confederate Relations, having for its object the relief of the country and the currency by a more equalized distribution of food by the railroads, &c., which was adopted. Mr. Haymond proposed an increase to the select committee of five appointed to confer with the proprietors of the several Richmond newspapers in the matter of publishing the report of proceedings of the House.
