Acquitted. --Thomas Hollins, the white lad accused of an attempt to pass a bogus $20 Confederate Treasury note on Mr. A. B. Clarke, corner of Seventeenth and Franklin streets, a few days since, appeared yesterday before William F. Watson, C. S. Commissioner, before whom he underwent an examination, and was discharged from custody, no evidence of felonious intent being produced. The accused only applied to Mr. Clarke to change the note, and did not, we presume, offer to pass it.
