Creager, spoke as follows: I am before you by the request of the patriotic Ladies of your city to present in their behalf a standard, the work of their hands, which they desire to intrust to your custody and protection. hereby pledges the faith and honor of the State of Tennessee to the faithful observance of the terms and conditions of said league. The following is the vote in the Senate on the adoption of the league: Yeas.--Messrs.
