[reported for the Richmond Daily Dispatch.]proceedings of the Baltimoreannual Conference.Sixth day. Staunton, Va., March 19. The session of yesterday afternoon was occupied principally in the examination of character. A large number of names were called and passed. Ellis Jones was discontinued at his own request. Conference met this morning, and religious exercises were conducted by T. H. W. Monroe. The Journal was read and approved. James C. McDonough, of Leesburg, (a local preacher,) was elected to Deacon's orders. The report of the Conference Stewards was presented $7,000 will be necessary to meet the claims of the ensuing year. The order of the day was taken up. Wm. Hirst desired to present a paper received by him from individuals in Baltimore, intended for the Conference. On motion, it was read. It contained-- 1. an earnest expression of desire for unity in the Conference. 2. an expression of sympathy with Virginia brethren,
