Stealing. --Emeline, slave to Dr. Roan, is under arrest for stealing pillows and blankets worth $80, the property of S. D. Lewis. She is to be examined this morning for the offence.
Punished. --Lewis, slave to Francis B. Hart, was punished by order of the Mayor for assaulting a female employee at the Spotswood Hotel.
