Mabie, Hamilton Wright 1845- Essayist; born in Cold Spring, N. Y., Dec. 13, 1845; was educated at Williams College and at Columbia University; and became associate editor of The outlook. He is a trustee of Williams and Barnard Colleges, and president of the New York Kindergarten Association.
