--On Sunday night last, Lieut. Schad, of the Marion Rifles, left his horse and buggy standing in front of a friend's house on Broad street, while he went in to make a call.
After a while, Robert Carbell and James Marcy came along, and, being on a small bender, thought they would take a ride, and so jumped into the vehicle and drove off. Their fun was subsequently interrupted by a watchman, who arrested them both and conducted them to the station-house.
The Mayor investigated the case yesterday, and the circumstances showing no felonious intention, the parties were discharged after giving security for their future good behavior.
