Emmet Guard. --This company is now thoroughly organized, and the following officers, being unanimously elected, have received their commissions: Wm. Lloyd, Captain; Jeffry Mason, 1st Lieutenant; Jas. Collins, 2d Lieutenant; J. H. Adams, 3d Lieutenant.--Non- Commissioned Officers: John Disney, 1st Sergeant; Daniel O'Mahoney, 2d Sergeant; Owen O'Malley, 3d Sergeant; Henry Collius, 4th Sergeant. The company is composed of Irish born citizens, who, ever anxious to strike a blow, like true patriots, against aggression, have enlisted in the cause, hoping that their valor in the field will be equal to their devotion to Virginia, their adopted State. Mr. P. Cummings was elected 2d Lieutenant, but declined that office, and was then elected Treasurer for the corps.
