The Finance Committee reported back adversely House bill to amend the act providing for revenue from foreign countries. Laid on the table. On motion, by Mr. Maxwell, of Florida, House resolution fixing Wednesday, the 8th instant, at 12 o'clock, as the hour of adjournment of the two Houses of Congress, was taken up. On ne die."
