Mayor's Court.
--The cases disposed of yesterday presented but few points of interest.
Incelins McKinney, charged with making an assault upon Wm. Stagg, was required to give security to keep the peace.
A charge against Wm. Stagg, for making an assault upon A. McKinney, was dismissed.
The case of Richard Morris, charged with stealing a pocked book and $10 in money from P. Johnston & Bro., was continued until to-day, in consequence of the absence of a witness.
A fine of $5 was imposed upon Richard Gregory, for retailing ardent spirits without a license.
Two or three negroes were sent down for punishment; about the same number, of drunks were disposed of in the usual way, and thus closed the important proceedings of the august tribunal.
