Barbee's Coquette. --This splendid piece of statuary, the production of Major Barbee, a Virginia artist, was sold at auction, in this city, on yesterday, for $7,000 cash. Mr. John G. Meem, of Lynchburg, becoming the purchaser. The purchaser may congratulate himself on the possession of a work of art that has attracted the attention of the connoisseurs not only of the New but the Old World.
