Cloyes; in 1863, J. Edward Tilton; in 1864, George S. Goddard; in 1865, George F. Seaver. The town-treasurer during all these years was Benjamin Homer. 1861. A town-meeting was held June 29th, at which it was voted to appropriate five hundred dollars in aid of the families of the volunteers.
