received to set in behalf of the Government of Mer Britiannic Majesty before further correspondence sould be held with him as Her majesty's Consul at the port of Richmond; and whereas the sald George Moore has lately, without accquing to said request, entered into correspondence as Her Majesty's Consul with the Secretary of War of these Confederate States, thereby disreguarding the authority of this Government: These, therefore, are to declare that I do not longer recognize teh said George Moore as Her Britennic Majesty's Consul in any part of there Confederate States, nor pesuilt him to or anjoy any of the functions, powers, or privileges allowed to the Consuls of Great .
