He was soon afterwards chosen professor in the "Saint John's Military and Classical Institution," at Spartansburg, S. C., and was afterwards engaged as an instructor in an institution in Marietta, Ga.--He subsequently settled in Pontotoc, Mississippi, and was a Professor in a Female S
