Newspaper suspended. --The editor of the Bedford (Va.) Democrat, Mr. John T. S. Perry, publishes the following card to his subscribers in his last issue: The sudden call for troops has made it the duty of the subscriber to comply with his engagement as a member of the "Old Dominion Rifles," and repair to the scene of service. As he is not only the editor, but the printer in a great part of what appears in his paper --with all the compositors called from his office for active service, it will be impossible for him to continue its regular issue until be shall resume it at his return. During this unexpected suspension the subscriber must throw himself upon the indulgence of his patrons. To those who wish it, we will make good the number of papers which may thus be wanting to the year's subscription. In place of the title which our paper has hitherto borne, we shall adopt in our next issue that of "Southern Patriot." Under this title all can unite. In this cau
