appointed: Mrs. M. C. Richards, Mrs. L. A. Pilcher, and Miss Mary Slaughter to attend to the general business of the Society. Mrs. Wm. Smith and Mrs. James H. Johnson to procure work for the Society; and Col. Hill, Dr. Richards, and S. D. Pilcher to ascertain and give information as to the condition of the soldiers. Mrs. Richards, Mrs. Pilcher, and Miss Mary Slaughter were desired to inform those gentlemen of their appointment. The meeting then adjourned, subject to the callf the Society. Mrs. Wm.
