is still living, in the person of the Rev. William T. Price, D. D., of the new town of Marlinton, ofeake & Ohio Railroad. In the spring of 1861 Dr. Price was a young preacher, supplying the congrega, was ordered to Grafton by Governor Letcher Mr. Price desired to accompany the soldiers, and at hi of the volunteer companies as a chaplain. Dr. Price kept a faithful diary, beginning on the 18then compiled and published in booklet form by Dr. Price, for which act alone the name of Dr. Price sDr. Price should be held in grateful remembrance by Virginia people.
