Fighting in Arkansas--the Federal fleet. Augusta, June 16th. --The Jackson Mississippian says that letters received in that vicinity leave no doubt that Gov. Roane attacked the Yankees twelve miles from Little Rock, and routed them. Gen. Hindman pursued and routed them again at Jacksonport. No dates are given, but the fight is supposed to have taken place recently. The Federal fleet left Vicksburg early Tuesday morning. It has gone down the river.
