Mayor's Court. --The usual number of cases were booked for the Mayor's consideration on Saturday, though only one of them was disposed of. We append the following list: Peter Roberts, a white man, was charged with stealing a horse, saddle, bridle and halter, valued at three thousand dollars, the property of Benjamin Gilder sleeve. The evidence was of a convincing character against the accused, and the Mayor remanded him for examination before the Hustings Court. James Griffin, arrested upon a warrant charging him with obtaining, under false pretences, a load of straw from a negro driver of N. A. Bowe, was required to give security for his appearance to answer the offence on Monday.
